Casual with a little edge. She’s comfortably running around in her Chuck Taylors—but keeps it edgy with pink hair. She’s also tall, tan and has great thigh gap…everything I want IRL! Haha!

FAVORITE FEATURE IN SURREAL?

Hands down, the video feature at the small seating areas. I love that it’s super easy to sit down and have a casual, quick conversation with other attendees like you would in the real world. And then it’s just as easy to jump up and move on to get to a meeting or check out other areas. The social butterfly in me loves to hop table to table to chat!

FAVORITE DANCE MOVE IN SURREAL?

The Shuffle! I only wish I could dance as well in real life!

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT SURREAL?

I’m a Senior Producer. I’m basically the go-to person to help navigate the waters of SURREAL while planning an event or while an event is happening. My goal is to make working with SURREAL as easy and fun as possible! During an event, you’ll see me running around with pink hair so I’m easy to spot!

WHERE DO YOU SEE THE FUTURE OF EVENTS?

Since I have a background in live events, I’m looking forward to those coming back in full swing; however, with technology like SURREAL, I really see a great opportunity for a hybrid approach. SURREAL enables us to go beyond the limits of travel, time and reality. Production that can’t be accomplished IRL—due to a myriad of real-world challenges—can absolutely happen in SURREAL! In addition, having both live and virtual options is a great way to span the gap between what’s possible and what you’ve always dream of doing.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SCI-FI FILM OR TV SHOW?

I’m not into SCI-FI usually. But hand me a true crime series, (based on a true story) murder mystery or a documentary that really makes you think, and I’m a happy camper. If you have not watched MINDHUNTER, you’re missing out!

WHEN NOT IN SURREAL WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN?

I’m addicted to travel! And I CANNOT wait to book my next trip. I’m in Atlanta and our festival scene is awesome, so really looking forward to getting back into those this summer. I also hike and camp quite a bit with friends and try to visit with my family as often as possible.
